In fact, at freshman orientation, you’ll start making friends even before the semester begins. You’ll meet future students as well as student counselors who are there to help.
Once school starts, you can build your own WCU community by joining one of our student-run organizations, pledging with one of the Greek chapters, or participating in intramural sports and other recreational activities. Campus ministries offer yet another way to find students who share your interests.
Don’t forget to knock on your neighbor’s door! Life in the residence halls provide a ready-made circle of friends, from informal get-togethers to residential living committees and events.
And of course, you’ll meet plenty of people at the many special events, concerts and performances that are part of WCU’s campus calendar.
