May is upon us and for our seniors, believe it or not, it’s finally here – Graduation! Congratulations to the Class of 2008! You’ve worked long and hard to achieve this important milestone. I’ll only offer one piece of advice… Finish Strong! The temptation to overlook these last exams and projects will be intense, but follow through and have your very best finals week ever. Then next weekend, we’ll celebrate those accomplishments in the Ramsey Center at your commencement.
For returning students, and particularly freshmen, I’m sharing the same advice… Finish Strong! I’d love to see all of our freshmen class return next fall. Don’t overlook finals and use your time wisely as you prepare. The Library is open night-and-day if you need a place to study. Let your RA know if you’re having trouble studying in your residence hall. Don’t be distracted by the random obstacles that may come up. Stay focused, and finish strong!

Dining Services is hosting the Late-Night Breakfast on Wednesday, May 7th from 8-10pm in Dodson Cafeteria. Mmmm…. Pancakes at night… mmm… Be there!
Finally...
Keep checking in with the Notes over the summer. I’ll try to do a summer edition or two. I’d love to get some pictures of WCU students out and about this summer. Send those emails and pictures to: vc-notes@wcu.edu
In the meantime… Finish Strong and be safe celebrating the end of the academic year! - Sam
