Elementary Education – Graduate Degree
Degree Offered: Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.)
Program Description: The Elementary Education program is designed to:
- prepare elementary school teachers to develop and apply research skills,
- expand and deepen content area knowledge, and
- further the understanding of child and educational psychology in order to provide opportunities for curriculum development and exploration of current methodology.
Courses are offered on a variety of schedules including weekends.
Required Standardized Test: GRE General Exam
Minimum Admissions Requirements: 3.0 GPA
Additional Admissions Criteria: Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation and hold or be eligible for the North Carolina "A" license in elementary education.
