WCU to offer Aqua Fitness
10/22/2008 - Western Carolina University will offer “Aqua Fitness” from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Nov. 8 through Dec. 4 in the Reid Gym Pool on campus.
Participants will engage in a variety of aqua exercises designed to increase cardiovascular endurance.
“Water aerobics allow a person to exercise every muscle and every joint in the body all at the same time,” said Susan Fouts, director of continuing education at WCU.
“The most important benefit of water aerobics is that almost anyone, no matter their age, can perform water aerobics,” said Fouts.
Cost of the class is $50. Registration is ongoing. Participants who do not preregister for the first class may register for later classes.
For more information or to register, contact Fouts at (828) 227-3688 or visit the Web site http://learn.wcu.edu.
